Terms and license

Updated

Jacob Vogan publishes Stereofold as open-source software under the MIT license. The license states the permissions, conditions, warranty disclaimer, and limitation of liability that accompany the software.

The MIT license permits use, copying, modification, and distribution, including commercial use, subject to its notice requirements. It provides the software “AS IS.” The repository's complete license text is authoritative. This page summarizes the existing license and adds no separate contract or purchase terms.

Third-party components and services

Dependencies, fonts, and other bundled materials can have their own licenses. Their notices are included in the package and on the credits and licenses page.

Your use of Codex, Claude, GitHub, structure databases, headset services, and optional voice or relay providers follows those services' terms. Stereofold requires no purchase or publisher account. Host subscriptions and optional services can have separate charges or requirements.

Your files and sharing choices

Use files, coordinates, recordings, and other material you are authorized to process and share. You choose the local files, network destinations, paired viewers, and optional providers. The privacy page describes these data flows and storage controls.

Stereofold displays molecular structures and geometric observations. Check the source, method, and rendered result before relying on an interpretation.

Support

The support page explains problem reports and documentation. The project provides community support without a guaranteed response time.
